A new study in the journal found that nearly all the men taking the erectile dysfunction drug Viagra had to wait weeks before starting to experience side effects.
The results, from a small study in China, showed that about 80 per cent of men taking Viagra and 60 per cent of men taking sildenafil had to wait weeks before the drug’s expected effect.
Viagra, which is sold under the brand name Viagra, was linked to more than 1,000 sexual side effects, including erectile dysfunction, impotence and flushing.
The study, published in the journal, was part of a long-term study by researchers at the University of California and the University of Oxford.
“These results provide a clear indication of why it’s important for men to be on Viagra to see their sex life as healthy and to have a healthy relationship,” said lead author Ian Read, professor of pharmacology at the University of Oxford.
